Long ago former Prime Minister P J Patterson of Jamaica thought it was a good idea to include an Opposition member in the delegation of governments to the meetings of the Heads.  It happened once, then fell into disuse.  Prime Minister Perry  Christie decided that this year he would do so again and in his delegation to Guyana from 2-5 July, he took Theo Neilly MP for Eleuthera with him.  We agree that it is a good idea for continuity in Foreign Affairs.
