Wayne Munroe Chosen By The PLP
On 13 March, the PLP chose the final nominee for the general election of 2017. It is Wayne Munroe Q C who will run in Freetown, the reconstituted seat that used to be Montagu. He defeated Senator Frank Smith and former MP for the area for the nomination. Here is what he posted in his Facebook page upon receiving the nomination: To the great constituency of Free Town, first and foremost I would like to thank the Almighty G-d for the many blessing he has bestowed upon me. Next, I would like to thank my family and friends for placing your support in me. Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards The Progressive Liberal Party for entrusting me of carrying The PLP banner for Free Town Constituency.
