REVOLT BREWING IN GRAND BAHAMA

The man who led the revolt was Darren Cooper, the grandson of Lofton Cooper, an old ally of Pindling.  Mr. Cooper, the grandson, is reputedly a hard core FNM.  So it was surprising to see him out in the streets shouting and leading the cry that the FNM must fix Grand Bahama.  So they should.  They have done nothing but bad mouth the PLP since coming to office with no hope given to the people of Freeport.  It is tragic.  By week’s end, he was talking more softly after having met the Minister for Grand Bahama and the Minister for Finance.  We hope they can help them but for many businesses in Port Lucaya in Freeport it is already too late. It’s the people’s time.
