Today, the CYC is proud to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019 under the theme, Balance for Better. The CYC celebrates the achievements of all women and call for action for greater gender equality. In this same spirit of unity, reflection, and advocacy, we announce the appointment of our new and first female Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Youth Council, Ms. Tamar V. Moss. Tamar, a young Bahamian national, is a practicing attorney-at-law and strong youth advocate who has demonstrated a strong portfolio of work in youth development in the Caribbean and across the Commonwealth.
