In Grand Bahama, the PLP’s Senator Michael Darville hosted a round table discussion on the future of Freeport with particular reference to the plan of the FNM Government to give all the power that the PLP took away from the Grand Bahama Port Authority back to them. The new act which the FNM proposes to pass will put the island back to the positon it was in pre 1967. This is a crying shame fifty years after majority rule. Chairman of the party Senator Fred Mitchell and Senator Michael Darville spoke to the forum on Friday 1 December.
