THE BUDGET AT A GLANCE

The nation’s budget comes in at about 4.4 billion dollars revenue and expenditure. This was announced on 27 May 2026 in the House of Assembly by Michael Halkitis, the Minister of Finance. Two highlights, the tax exemption on real property tax where you have an owner occupied building that is up to a fourplex.  Work permit fees for caregivers have been cut from 2000 to 1000 dollars per year.
