THE FORCES ARE GATHERING AGAINST MICHAEL

The photo shows the number of cars gathered outside the home of Hubert Ingraham on Thursday 27 August 2026. The cars were said to belong to a number of prominent FNMs. They were gathered in the face of the strong push back by Michael Pintard who told Hubert Ingraham that his comments about the future leadership of The FNM were misplaced and inappropriate. Mr. Pintard appeared on Guardian Radio and essentially told Hubert Ingraham in answer to the comment about the FNM finding someone who can win, that he needed to butt out.

The talk show answers did not go down well with the Ingraham faithful. Mr. Pintard should have known better. The FNM is not his party. The FNM is Hubert Ingraham’s party. The white people who are the money behind the party support Mr. Ingraham. In their view, he is the only one who can win or chart a path to victory. They do not see a future in Mr. Pintard.

The black group associated with Ceil Wallace Whitfield support Mr. Ingraham as well and they think that Michael Pintard just doesn’t have it.

The appearance then on talk radio and particularly on a show run by Zhivargo Laing, Mr. Ingraham’s protégé, seemed ill-advised and a fundamental misstep. It was like the lines in the old poem “come into my parlour said the spider to the fly”.

The PLP should help to stir up the pot by encouraging these sides to fight one another. The country can only benefit from their continued disintegration.

Michael Pintard is a dead man walking. The only one who doesn’t know it is him.
