JEFF LLOYD NICE PICTURE BUT THE KIDS SUFFER

This is a pretty picture of the little pre-school kids welcoming the Minister of Education Jeffery Lloyd to their school.  That’s all very nice but the children of Sandilands Primary School and the Fox Hill catchment area for pre-school children have nothing to celebrate.  Their children have no pre-school.  This is so despite the fact that a private investor, Chris Tsvoussis, who is the owner of Popeye’s offered to build at his expense and his design a new administrative block for Sandilands Primary and to retrofit the existing administration block for a pre-school that could accommodate 40 children.  The Minister refuses to process.  He has not returned the investors phone calls.  It’s been over a year. So we are not moved by this picture and neither are the parents of Sandilands.
