Senator Fred Mitchell on a tour of the Japanese Diet ( Parliament ) hosted by Dr Kazu Hamada, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and still Member of the Upper House in Japan…in discussions seated on traditional Japanese furniture in the state supplied office of Councillor Matsushita Shimpei, in Dr Hamada’s office and the chef at the Parliamentary Restaurant and at the sushi bar in the Parliamentary Restaurant 31 October 2019. The two exchanged views on Japan and the Caribbean and developments between Asia and the world.
