The Governor General Dame Marguerite Pindling and the two former Governors General Arthur Hanna and Sir Orville Turnquest were invested into the Order of the Nation. The Governor General in her own right and as Chancellor of the Society and the other two as the inaugural awards.  All Prime Ministers and Governors General are entitled to the award of Order of the Nation which allows the post nominals O.N and the prefix designation Most Honourable.
