THE TRAVESTY OF THE PLP COURT CASES CONTINUES

A court order was obtained by the Attorneys for Frank Smith, the former Senator and former Chairman of the Public Health Authority to compel the production of records to his side from the virtual complainant in the charges of corruption brought against him.  The order was given by Justice Gregory Hilton. Barbara Hanna and the Crown have to produce her banking records.  They also got an order to compel the production of the advice given by the Attorney General to the PHA that there was no corruption in their arranging a new contract with Barbara Hanna during the FNM’s time because she had not been involved in any corrupt behavior before that point.  If that comes up to proof it will show that the Crown itself did not believe that their own witness and Senator Smith were involved in corrupt dealings. The defence sees these as valuable tools in their fight to show that this is just a sham trial.
