Public Disclosure Discussion Is Stupid

Every year the national press and the FNM have this obsession with the Pubic Disclosure of Members of Parliament and Senators.  We think it’s just that: an obsession.  What cares about it?  The fact is the law is here and most people eventually fill in the stupid forms.  There is not issue with corruption in this country.  That is a figment of the imagination of the foreign minders who won’t mind their own business and the FNM and their friends in the press. The law allows a on month extension so if people don’t disclose by 1 March what the hell is the big deal?  And even if they are to be prosecuted you have to prove that they knowingly refused to disclose.  So how are you going to prove that? What an absolute waste of time and money for country that needs work.
