Prime Minister Perry Christie has been coming since 1998 but the people of Fox Hill have been doing it since at least 1884.  

The Baptist Churches mark Emancipation Day with a special celebration on the second Tuesday in August and call it Fox Hill Day.  Seen at St Paul’s Baptist Church is Prime Minister Perry Christie, Deputy Prime Minister Philip Davis, Minister of National Security Bernard Nottage and Minister for Social Services Melanie Griffin beings served “switcher” or limeade.
