Minnis And Corned Beef In Cartoons

People everywhere were talking about Dr. Duane Sands, the Minister of Heath and his decision to take corned beef off the price control list.  He got the backlash of his life.  Near the end of the week he had this to say: “What may likely happen is corned beef may end up on probation…but the minister of health has to take a position to defend the health of the people of The Bahamas.” One supposes that’s as close as we will get to an apology from the head in the clouds doctor.  What follows is a sample of how the cartoonists of The Bahamas greeted the corned beef news.
